Späť na úvod

By race

In America, usually most of the white population vote for the Republican Party. It has been like this since 1968. But this year the percentage of white votes for the Republican Party was reduced from 20% to 17 %. On the other hand somehow was the percentage of black voters for the Democratic Party lower then usually. Also number of Latino, Hispanic and Asian voters was lower than previous years. But we still can say that voters of colour were really important to Biden’s win.

By gender

This is just graph that shows opinion about Trump. We can see that most of women are against the Republican Party. Most of men also do not like Trump but the difference is smaller.

In 2016 most of men were for Trump and most of women were against Trump. In this election Trump lost supporters among men, so his lead with men got smaller. Women voted like years before, which means mostly for the Democratic Party.

By race and gender

As we can see white men and also women are still mostly for Republican Party. Women and men of colour are for Democratic Party, but the number of voters is somehow lower than in 2016

By education

On this graph we can see that people with college graduation vote for Democratic Party. The number of women with college degree voting for Democratic country increased and so did the number of men with college degree. But men are still mostly for Republican Party. Trump leads with people that do not have a college degree.

Here we can see how crucial voters of colour are. We can also see the difference between men (mostly republicans) and women (mostly democrats). I think that gender was more important factor then education in this election.
